FFL transfers, without the runaround.
Bought a firearm online or out of state? It has to ship to a licensed dealer, and that's us. We handle transfers every week — here's exactly how it works and what it costs.
Four steps, no surprises.
- 01Buy your firearm. From any online retailer, auction, or private seller who ships.
- 02Send them our FFL. Email us at armory@americasarmoryllc.com and we'll send our license straight to the seller — most retailers have us on file already.
- 03We'll call you when it arrives. Usually the same day it's logged in.
- 04Pick it up. Bring a valid government-issued photo ID, complete the Form 4473, pass the standard background check, and take it home.
One flat rate.
Transfers are a flat $30 per firearm. No handling add-ons, no storage fee for the first two weeks, no charge if your background check doesn't clear. Multiple firearms on one order? Ask about the multi-transfer rate.
Worth knowing.
Florida waiting periods
Florida requires a waiting period between purchase and pickup for some transfers — it varies by county and by whether you hold a Florida CWFL. Call us before you order and we'll tell you exactly what applies to you.
NFA items (suppressors, SBRs)
We handle NFA transfers by arrangement. These run on ATF timelines, not ours — call the shop before purchasing so we can walk you through the process and current wait times.
Out-of-state and private-party transfers
Handguns must transfer through a dealer in your state of residence — that's federal law, not shop policy. Long guns have more flexibility. If you're not sure your purchase can come to us, call before you buy.
